May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home
And may the hand of a friend always be near.
go n-éirí an bothar leat
go raibh an ghaoth go bráth ar do chúl
go lonraí an ghrian go te ar d'aghaidh
And may the hand of a friend always be near.

Mè Fèin
Is mise Pádraig. Corcaíoch a tógadh leis an nGaeilge. Tháinig mé go Sasana na cianta ó shin. Nuair a chuaigh mé ar scor ón múinteoireacht bhunaigh mé ciorcal comhrá, Glór Beo, breis is fiche bliain ó shin a bhi beo go dtí an Samhradh seo. Tá mé im' chónaí anois i Suffolk ró fhada ón gciorcal. Ba mhaith liom an ceangal a choimeád agus a leathanú le daoine go bhfuil an grá céanna acu do mo theanga dúchais.
About me
I am Pádraig. I'm a Corkman raised with Irish. I came to England many years ago. When I retired from teaching I set up a conversation circle, Glór Beo, more than twenty years ago, that was still alive up to this Summer. Unfortunately, I now live in Suffolk too far from the circle. I would like to keep the connection with the members and to widen it to people who have the same love for my native language.
